About Me

I’m a small town Southern girl (born and raised Alabamian) that has always dreamed of living on a farm way out in the middle of nowhere. After twenty-something years of day dreaming and fantasizing, it finally happened.

My weaknesses in life are carbs, a good latte, trashy romance novels (still looking for my Prince Charming), standard poodles, rare chicken breeds, and of course, bouncing baby goats.

And along with enjoying time spent tending to said goats and their farmyard pals, I also love to cook, bake, attempt to garden (and I really do mean attempt), and take lots of photographs (usually of the aforementioned animals). My dishes (and photos) don’t always turn out like I wish and I’ll certainly never be mistaken for Martha Stewart or Ansel Adams (hey, but, at least I know who he is), but it’s something that I love doing. And I couldn’t imagine trading this life for anything.
